This song was performed at the "lur and herding call competition" at Påls-Ola-Vollen in Tolga in 1949. The young shepherd boy Jon Gjelten, only 10 years old, "... strolled up in the field with a shepherd's staff in his hand and a birch bark backpack on his back and sang a shepherd's call so it was a delight." - as it said in the local newspaper Fjell-Ljom, Wednesday 24 August 1949.

The text captures nature, wildlife and everyday life on the summer mountain pasture, in a mixture of play, practical everyday life and enticement.

Lyrics

Tikke tikke disjka, ja kom no disjka'.
Kvomt æ i dalom, svalt æ på fjell,
leiv ligg i skreppa, salt æ i pøngla,
solbråe setra no låner vi eld.

Tikke tikke disjka, ja kom no disjka'.
tov står i fjel-lom so vel i stand.
Lenge ska vi dryge der høgt «punder hognom»,
der stig han, røyken, frå einbrok og kvann.

Tikke tikke disjka, ja kom no disjka'.
Stinn står’n fisken og rypa har reir,
raud lyser karten, ein dag vert han mogen,
kva kan da ein juring vel ønske seg meir?
